The CAG members were appointed by the City Council in the fall of 2003. The members of the CAG represented a wide variety of stakeholders who provided the City input for the nature and the character of SH-121T.
The input of the CAG built upon the City's recommended Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA), which incorporated many of the core elements of the Project Development Team (PDT) Report. Through a facilitated process, the CAG developed a set of recommendations that were used by the City as it developed a Corridor Enhancement/Mitigation Master Plan with its partners, the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and TxDOT (TxDOT). The Corridor Master Plan was adopted by the City Council, NTTA and TxDOT, and is now being used for final engineering and design of the project to ensure that the community's aesthetic goals are realized.
The CAG will continue to represent the community as final design is undertaken by the Project Partners. The CAG is chaired by Elaine Petrus and facilitated by Bryan Beck, P.E., the City's Project Manager, Scott Polikov, A.I.C.P., Deputy Project Manager of Prime Strategies, Inc. and the Gateway Planning Group, Brian Ray, P.E., of Kittelson & Associates and Kirk Millican, AIA, of HOK.
